Mayela has a solid track record of over twenty years practicing corporate law, with experience in diverse industries, focusing primarily on the healthcare sector in recent years. She began her career at renowned law firms in Mexico, where she was responsible for the areas of Corporate Law, Intellectual Property, Foreign Investment, Labor Law, and Immigration Law, providing comprehensive counsel to national and international clients. Subsequently, she served as Legal and Corporate Management Director at a major healthcare company, leading areas such as legal, compliance, regulatory affairs, sustainability, and information security. In this position, she contributed a strategic approach that strengthened the group's structure and governance.

She joined Sámano Abogados in 2025 to integrate into the Health practice.
