The International Bar Association (IBA), established in 1947, is a Bar of lawyers and legal practitioners, Bars or Lawyer Associations and International legal associations, voluntarily affiliated.

The Association has a membership of 50,000 independent lawyers and 200 Bars or Lawyers Associations and Legal Associations. Its offices are located in London, England and it has regional offices in Washington, D.C. in the United States, in Seoul, South Korea and in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
